Memorial for tragic Bala youth worker

A MEMORIAL service for a young man who died in a tragic accident at a church-run residential centre will be held tomorrow.
Siôn Ifan Evans died after falling down a staircase at Coleg y Bala in Bala last month. The 27-year-old was deputy warden at the Presbyterian Church of Wales centre in the town.
A memorial service will be held at Capel Tegid, Bala, at 2pm.
The service will be led by the Rev Eric Greene, who said: "Siôn was a very popular member of the community and his death shocked us all.
"His funeral service was held at a small chapel in rural Ceredigion and the chapel and vestry were full. This service is being held to allow those people who may have been unable to attend the funeral service to pay their last respects to him."
