Denbigh attraction open to disabled drivers

DISABLED drivers are now able to visit a Denbigh beauty spot, thanks to an innovative new scheme launched by the county council this week.

The Mount Wood site had previously been off-limits to those with wheelchairs and mobility buggies but the new RADAR key system - normally used to access disabled toilets - is now promising to offer greater access to the area.

The keys, which cost £3.50 and are only available to Blue Badge holders and other disabled citizens, can also be used at a variety of sites in Rhyl, Prestatyn, and Dyserth.

For more information and to buy the RADAR keys please visit the council’s One Stop Shops at St Asaph, Corwen, Ruthin, Rhuddlan, Denbigh and Prestatyn.
